Working Holiday Visas

Home » Blog » Working Holiday Visas

March 23, 2014 //  by theinternationalwanderer//  Leave a Comment

To help get you started: search to find out which countries offer working holiday visas – under a working holiday visa scheme or seasonal work programme – that you may be able to apply for. Simply enter your country of origin (the country for which you hold a valid passport) to view the opportunities available to you.

Don’t despair if none or only limited opportunities are available in respect to working holiday visas – we will do our best to identify other visa opportunities that may be available.

So you want to move abroad or live overseas? The International Wanderer provides information to help you work abroad, study abroad, learn abroad, volunteer abroad, teach abroad or intern abroad. From a short holiday or learning vacation through to working holiday or gap year experiences or a permanent move – The International Wanderer is here to help.

These days, globalisation affects everybody.  To succeed in this environment, it is vital to have the ability to traverse cultures. It does not matter whether you work for an international organisation; plan to open an office in Kathmandu; acquire a business in Nairobi or embark on international travel for business – it is important to be able to understand and work across cultures.

Learning another language, working abroad, volunteering overseas or studying in another country. Travelling overseas is also a great way to gain life experience and to further a career.  Around the world, people are continually seeking new places and new opportunities.

There are many ways in which people work overseas, study overseas, volunteer overseas, teach overseas or intern overseas.

Here you can search to find out which countries offer working holiday visas that you may be able to apply for.

Simply use the search above for your country of origin (the country for which you hold a valid passport) to view the opportunities.

Nothing or not much come up for your country? Don’t be disheartened – there are always other ways to make your dreams of work and travel a reality. Search our destinations page for the country you would like to visit and then click on that country’s visa information page.

Also, keep in mind that tourist visas, work visas, holiday visas, student visas, volunteer visas and working holiday visas offered by various countries are continuously changing. Agreements between countries are made, broken and requirements altered. Make sure you have all the correct and up to date information and can legally work, visit or study in your desired destination country before boarding the plane.
