Australia

When deciding where you want to spend your vacation, factors such as time of the year, expenses and reviews from other people or even from your past experiences are taken into account. With most people choosing exotic places such as Hawaii, Jamaica, Cote D’Azur, Greece or even Turkey, some might want to take another route and choose Australia as their vacation spot.

AustraliaFor Queen and Country

Derived from the Latin word “australis” which means “southern”, Australia is the sixth largest country in the world in terms of area size. It is a constitutional monarchy in the same way as England, with a federal division of powers and a monarchal figure in the person of Queen Elizabeth II. The queen lives in the United Kingdom, while her viceroys handle the throne’s business in Australia.

Surrounded by both the Indian and Pacific Oceans, Australia offers a variety of landscapes. You get tropical rainforests to the north-east, mountains in the south-west and east and desert landscape in the middle.

So many places, so little time

When going to Australia make sure to visit Geraldton. Outdoor lovers will enjoy activities ranging from hiking, swimming, touring wineries, snorkeling or just taking a seat and watching as the time goes by around the beautiful landscape. With Australia being famous for its beaches, you cannot go there and fail to visit Cairns Queensland or Adelaide. In both places there are numerous ways to enjoy your time from sunbathing to water activities such as diving. Adelaide is also famous for its festivals and the V8 Supercar and Horse Racing Carnival.

If your thirst for the outdoors is not yet satiated, going to the Island of Tasmania is like taking a stroll to paradise. One of the top three vacation spots in Australia, it is a favorite for history lovers and hiking enthusiasts. Some may say that Looney Tune’s lovable Tasmanian devil increased the number of Tasmania’s visitors and most certainly they would not be wrong.

Culture is a key part of all vacations

If the hustle and bustle of city life is what you want most and you can’t see yourself enjoying a vacation without it, check out Perth. Known for its interesting street parades, the Joondalup Carnival and the Red Bull Air Race event, if you want action that is the place to be

Last but definitely not least, let us not forget Australia’s capital: Sidney. While visiting Sidney you can enjoy the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Sidney Conservatorium, the famous Sydney Opera House and if you are a sports lover, Stadium Australia. There is also the Theater Royal, Sydney Dance Company and numerous others. If you need to get an Australian Visa and you are worried that it might take a long time for it to be offered, worry no longer. There are currently 36 countries that are eligible for Australia’s e Visitor visa, including countries belonging to the European Union. Anyone not eligible will find the Australia visa acquisition process to be a simple and painless affair. Take a moment and have some time in Australia.
