Studying in the Cook Islands

Considering that most Cook Islands natives choose to relocate to another country for their postsecondary education, in particular to New Zealand, the range of options for foreigners is not very generous. There are several local colleges and foreigners interested in attending one of them should contact the institution directly to inquire about their options.

There are a few study programmes that focus on the Maori culture and the local language, so people interested in learning more about this South Pacific nation have several options to choose from.

Certain nationalities do not require a visa to attend a study programme in the Cook Islands, but check with a local embassy for more information.
