Studying in Mauritania

Mauritania has a history with Islam and the region that stretches many years back. Because of this there are many suitable institutions for international students from all over the world to study religion. There are good language and jurisprudence schools in the country such as the Markaz At Takween Al Ulama wa Duaa. The country is well suited for study and has low living standards. Religious study for women is very flexible in Mauritania as many institutions permit ladies to study at home and visit universities to sit exams and similar tasks.

For international students interested in study in the capital, The Lebanese International University has several programs that can serve to meet the needs of international students. The institution has a faculty of arts, international affairs, Education and Sciences, humanities, Pharmacy and an Information centre.
